Our background story...
Armstrong & Associates was founded to meet the unmet needs of individuals facing conflict within their lives. Whether it involves relationship breakdowns, employment challenges, small businesses, or dissatisfaction with a product or service.
We have found that throughout life, everyone encounters challenges, yet can be ill-equipped to navigate them effectively. This is particularly true during times of emotional distress or when faced with unfair treatment and is where our expertise can assist.
We are dedicated to equipping our clients with accurate information and support, enabling them to promptly and effectively resolve issues. This approach not only resolves problems swiftly but also minimizes the emotional and financial impact of prolonged disputes, removing the need for litigation.
Our approach is comprehensive—we link clients with external services as needed, ensuring they receive support throughout the conflict and discover a pathway to resolution & peace. We serve as an unbiased third party, ensuring fair compliance with rules and amplifying voices, resulting in more sustainable and equitable outcomes.
As a private Mediation practice, we offer a simpler & more cost-effective approach with ‘alternative law’ options. Additionally, we offer Dispute Resolution Services, Consultancy Services and Training/Workshop opportunities. Our services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client and are predominantly provided online or via telephone, making our services accessible nationally. We also provide face to face services within the South West of WA, upon request.

Cassandra Armstrong
MEDIATOR/FAMILY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PRACTITIONER (FDRP)
Cassandra is the founding director of Armstrong & Associates, a private mediation practice based in WA, servicing clients across Southwest.
A nationally accredited mediator and approved family dispute resolution practitioner (FDRP), Cassandra brings a wealth of skills to her practice, including experience in;
- Family law, divorce & separation;
- Property settlements;
- Parenting Plans;
- Domestic Violence matters
- Child focused mediation;
- Employment disputes;
- Consumer Protection issues;
- Business Consultancy
Having spent more than a decade in the Social Services Sector, Cassandra has firsthand experience of the adverse effects that divorce and separation can have on families. She observed significant emotional and financial struggles faced by families, many of which could have been prevented. This realization led her to pursue formal qualifications in mediation services. Cassandra’s goal is to offer individuals an opportunity to work through their conflicts outside of the court room.
Having strong analytical skills, insightful thinking, and well-developed problem-solving abilities, Cassandra’s passion for social justice drives her to assist individuals and families in resolving disputes with dignity and respect. She prioritizes child-focused practices and, while empathetic and flexible, isn’t afraid to challenge clients when needed, to achieve peaceful resolutions.
